How Does It Work?
Credit My Rent verifies any positive rent history so you can have a boost in your credit score.
They report to Equifax and TransUnion, but not Experian. However, you can use Experian boost to improve that credit bureau separately.
Credit My Rent is very simple to use and takes about 5 minutes to sign up.
Once you create an account and enter all your correct leasing information, they will start the verification process which can take time if you did anything incorrectly.
How Long Does It Take To Start Seeing Results?
On their website FAQs, It states it can take up to 3-45 days once the leasing information has been verified. You do receive an online portal to view your status and qualified rent reports.

Monthly With No Setup Fee: $9.95/month
Monthly + 1 year Payment History: $9.95/month & $99 Fee
Monthly + 2 year Payment History: $9.95/month & $149 Fee
Each payment will be reported each month which will act as an positive tradeline on your credit report. Credit My Rent will handle all the reporting for you and send your information to TransUnion and Equifax once every month.
Your initial payment will be charged to your credit card or debit card on file. You can either pay by automatic bank withdrawal or you may choose another method provided by Credit My Rent (some restrictions apply).
Payments will be taken out every month and you can easily cancel whenever you want.
Is Credit My Rent Worth It?
Yes, Credit My Rent is definitely worth if you previously had bad credit and are in need to improve your creditworthiness.
There is only a one-time enrollment fee if you wish to add past rent, but it's very cheap if you just need to report only your current rental payments.
